Any way to swap this feature in the game to the in hanger clip board next to convergence so you can check it and it remains on all the time. Another place it could be is on the right click checks on the in flight clipboard maybe where the wind option is now. As far as I can tell the wind option doesn't serve a function.
-
No reason to put it on the clipboard. If pressing two keys at the same time on the runway is a problem just request that it's added to the flight options menu.
-
don't understand why it doesn't just stay on or off like ctrl-I already does (or whatever the key is that shows you your framerate)

Kvuo ya that would work to

I mapped it to my stick. Hit a button and it's up, hit another and its gone. Don't see what the problem is.
-
Its not a problem fugitive at all. Its just an idea. Like Kuvo pointed out. It could be a one time click that stays up like the frame rate. Then you wouldn't have to go to the steps of mapping it to your stick :)

Maybe it should be posted as a bug because it doesn't stay on. :lol
I do think it's best to toggle it manually because once the damage is listed you don't need it on.

ahh what? Simple request guys no need to troll it.

Same here, I use Pand's Warthog script, press a button, it's on for the flight.
I turn it on right after wheels up...
-
guys I have my own way of dealing with this as well. Its just a wish that it stays on once its been implemented. Heck I cant think of a single moment where I would want it off.
-
No worries, if Hitech thinks it's a good idea our comments won't matter. ;)

I too, turn the Damage List ( Ctrl D ) on right as I am taking off......
what would be better is if it could be tied to each individual aircraft's settings like your hps , gunsight, convergence, etc......
this way one could turn it on or off for each individual aircraft / GV / Boat etc ... what ever their desire might be for that particular platform they are using to play ( fly, drive etc... )
just a suggestion added to the original request
I am for it

You can get the Cougar MFD two pack and sell one to a friend. These things work well and are set to your needs in AH. Then you will have lots of buttons. Damage is on one of my buttons.

Been wished for multiple times, perhaps this WILL be the time it gets considered.

What's nice about the MFD's is that it's easy to label the buttons so you don't have to remember everything. :old:

My keyboard came pre labelled. It has a letter or a number on every button so you don't forget which is which :bolt:

That's my point too. :) These doggone young guys . . . someday . . . they will be :old:

If my 190 suddenly has a roll rate like a P-38, I look to see which wing or aileron is broken.
If pitch is sloppy, I'm betting it is the elevators.
Yaw control crap? Rudder
White/gray smoke? Fuel or coolant.
Plane suddenly falls out of sky? Tailfeathers
Plane tilts when dropping flaps? hmmmmm....
Cartwheel on the runway? gear...
Oil all over windscreen? I think that one is obvious.
Mapping a button on the joystick makes it about as simple as it can get if you really need it on.
