Title: 24 kills for 1

Today I lit up the lead plane of a B-17 formation. First, it did not fall out of the sky even with one wing removed due to the fire. Then, just as I started to roll film to get this bug recorded, the B-17 finally exploded and gave me credit for 24 kills.
(I did only perks for one kill though).

Of course I was called out in public for "gaming the game" and "cheating"... I guess the clowns can't suppress their usual knee-jerk reactions at all  :rolleyes:

Will send in the film

Edit: For some odd reason the 17s only appear on the film right after the lead (and a drone, for no reason) explode and give me 24 kills  :headscratch:

this is an outrage!   

someone remove these kills from the score system ASAP!  :old:

Skuzzy has removed them from the kills database, I only got one single kill in the P-47D-40 now  :aok

Hmm.....I wonder.....

Are there two types of fires modelled in game? I know one takes the wing off, but I remember once seeing the fuselage of my P51 on fire which eventually just went boom! Wonder what happens if you manage to trigger both types on a target?

We have only fuel tank fires in AH, and the immediate result is depending on the location of the burning fuel tank. Though in the end, every fire will send you to the tower.

Is this confirmed?  The engine nacelles on bombers have always been one of my favorites to focus on to cause a buff to then light up, not that it couldn't be the fuel tanks in the immediate area either.

I seen that. You had just killed me in a tank , and not 5 minutes later you landed 24 kills in a jug. I was like WTF!  :furious  After calling you several bad names, I calmed down a bit I remembered a bug a couple of years ago where someone shot down some bombers and the text buffer said he killed over 100.  :lol
