I've been considering replacing the Remington 870 that was stolen from me when I was in college by my friend who secretly picked up a methamphetamine habit. Mostly because I miss having a pump and getting aminishin for my 16 gauge is never convenient.
While looking into short barrels I stumbled across these little gems. Because they are manufactured short and not modified they require a $5 'Any Other Weapon' stamp from the ATF instead of a really expensive short barrel shotgun stamp.
They're available in 12 and 20 gauge with the choice of a Mossberg or Remington receiver.

Wow... With the right jacket, that would almost fit in a shoulder holster. That's a neat little gun. Would prefer a semiauto, wonder how bad it would be one handed?
With that short of a barrel I wonder what kind of muzzle velocity you'd get? I bet it'd flash like a mother too...

Nice weapon. I prefer as little paper on what I (legally, I might add) own, as possible.

Hickok45 over on Youtube played with both the 870 and the Mossberg 500 version a while back. Might find some useful info if you're interested.
