I wish that the appropriate country flag could be on each countries carrier task force.

I don't see why not, but could the fate of the war hinge on knowing to which side the CV belongs? You don't need to sink CVs to win the war.
I say yes to this idea, since it sounds easy enough to implement, but I don't think it would be particularly useful to anyone.

Some instances you can win the war sinking a cv...........

Only if you own its port...then the CV becomes another "base" of yours when it respawns.

You only see the available CV's for your country. Opposing CV's are invisible to the map.
:headscratch: to what you really want.

He's saying if the 5-inchers or the puffy ack don't get you, you can get close enough to see a flag flying from the conn tower.

I'm pretty sure he means on the deck of the ship itself, but a chess piece

I may be mistaken, but I thought it was only the Japanese who commonly put the flag on their ships. I know the Bismark had the Swastika, but did the Tirpitz? And I don't recall hearing about any US or RN carriers that had the flag of their country on them. Or any US or RN ships for that matter.
But I may be wrong
If I'm not then I don't feel it would be right to put flags on all our carriers which are modelled on a US carrier if only 1 country in the war had it.

If it shoots at me, I will sink it.

Not a bad idea. :headscratch:
However I do like it when a player gets confused & heads off to land on the wrong CV that is in the area.

I'd rather they put the CV's field number on its side and deck in rather large letters instead of a country flag. :aok
