Title: Help with pop up

I keep getting a pop up window saying "Plane settings can't be loaded " . I hit ok and then when I go back to the tower and pic another plane it does it again . Any idea's? Besides downloading the game again . I'm stuck on dial-up right now and it takes day's to download the game .

Something is interfering with the loading of the files.  Anti-xxx software?  Some type of security software?  Older files with an obsolete format?  Files marked as read-only?  UAC in Vista/7/8 is blocking them from being loaded as they were installed under another set of credentials?

Skuzzy , I am running Windows XP with VGA Anti-virus . Comes up like this :
Unable to open settings/plane/p51d.pwl


any idea's . Fore or fine windows pop up stacked on top of each other . Then I ok them once in the plane . Don't hert game play just a pain having to ok them out each time I go to tower . I hope you follow me .

There are only two possibilities from our perspective.

1)  The files are corrupt, preventing the game from reading the data.

2)  An external program is blocking the game from reading the files.

You can remove the files to see if the problem goes away, although that will not help you to understand the actual problem.
