I think this is a simple soulution. The mission planner need not even be modified to accomplish this...
1. Setup a mission
2. Pilots join
3. Mission rolls out
Critria for perk points to be awarded:
A. A mission participant captures a field.
B. Mission participant(s) destroy over 75% of a factory.
C. Mission participant(s) destroy a task group.
D. Mission participant(s) collectively shoot down more than 20 enemy aircraft / ground vehicles
A Mission participant would be defined as someone who accepted a mission assignment in the map room.
If any of the above criteria were met or exceeded, ALL SURVIVING mission participants receive X amount of perk points in ALL catagories.
Maybe even mission planner could get an extra amount of Perks for making the plan.
I think this could be a good way to really promote teamwork and use of the mission planner. It also seems a lot of the code required is already in place:
1. System knows who is in the mission (Yellow Icons)
2. System knows who killed what (Kill Data)
What do you think? Please stay on topic and be serious. I really think this could be a nice feature that would work.

I think this one will be implemented sooner or later and IF I remember correctly Pyro was bit positive about the idea stating that anything that encourages planned missions is good.
Perks for succesfully completing a mission encourages pilots to participate missions that have significance. I don't know if there is mission for mindless furballing too but it would get a lot of use! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

I like it too Midnight, sounds like a good way to organise things a bit. Of course I like some disorganisation at times too (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif).
