Te'o, Notre Dame star, admitted to lying about "his Girlfriend", that never existed.
He was in on it. Another person that kids looked up to.
Nobody knows or cares what integrity means anymore?
Don't they get it that kids emulate these so-called 'Heroes".
Now has something to follow him his entire life, above and beyond his Football playing days.
What a loser.
 Oz

Why would he lie about not having a girl friend? Thats pointless..
-
I don't understand that myself .
-
Yes, but this is far different than doping. The fact that everyone has made such a big deal out of this in the first place is proof that a lot of people in this country's priorities are completely out of touch. Besides, give him a break, he's not even a professional athlete. He's barely even old enough to drink. Anyways, it was a messed up prank by other individuals and this kid fell for it and got caught up in the aftermath. I hope you wouldn't have had to deal with that.

It shows the character of the man, or lack there of. If he lied about the dead girlfriend what's to stop him from lying about anything else. He may not be a cheater but he is a liar, and one is as good as the other in my book.
-
He was forced into said relationship by a evil woman :rofl
Camera phones have put a end to any shenanigans :)
Whats Woody Allen's excuse then? :rofl
-
to call someone who plays baseball...basketball....foot ball....
a hero
is asinine....and just one of the many messed up things in this country.

I thought this was gonna be about Ray Lewis admitting he got two people stabbed to death, or maybe Ben Rothlisberger admitting he was a serial rapist
-
Anybody who doesn't admit to lying is a lier.

Or in other words:

But honestly I'm laughing a lot about all this because Notre Dame's reputation deserves to be tarnished. The sports media goes out of its way to canonize every athlete that goes to that academically-mediocre private school, and I'm glad they got burned too.
