Just so happens I found an open door which lead me onto the 80th FS (BG) Headhunters vox channel..and...as I was chatting with SAPP's finest...

Not sure it really counts unless it's a 110 or 410.... you know, SAPP and 2 engines going together so intricately, and all?

This + we usually lose a lot more parts. That bird is near intact compared to some of Guppy's better efforts. Heck it's not even on fire or anything!  :D

The A-8 is one tough SOB, a couple weeks ago I came in too hot into a Vbase, I hit a hangar at about 80mph but with ~30 degree shallow angle and bounced off it like a football.  It also superb at landing on the small compact fantail of cruisers.

take off with 2 yes, but usually crashing with 1.
