Found the ideas in this article fascinating. Shows how little we yet understand, about even everyday things around us.

Another fact: quantum effects give silver and gold their color

It's a bit strange that a lot of different cultures have given much value to these metals since the beginning of history and certainly well before quantum mechanics were envisaged.

It's not strange at all. Gold was the first metal humans ever worked with, it's only natural we have a strong bond.

Curiously, a spotted dick is not what you might think.

Interesting thought.  Problem with the the idea is that conducting suggestions that they are will be very hard on living tissues.  Physics has been used in human anatomy for the longest time but to go down to the cellular level to conduct experiments is difficult.  Conducted intracellular electrophysiology work on drosophila melanogaster in undrgrad and that was the biggest pain in the arse to do.  The slightest mistake and you puncture through the cell, working with glass pipettes so fine that just a breathing on the end would cause it to snap.  There will be serious challenges if research continues.

It definitely is an interesting concept, funding for research on it though will be hard to obtain.  Unless its NIH grants they obtain which are hard to begin with as there has to be concrete foundation to the research project to be proposed to NIH, I dont see many companies investing until the research progresses where it has a pharmaceutical advantage.  That is at least for this country, not sure how countries in Europe and Asia work for obtaining funding.

and England too. Just a conspiracy of cartographers.

This is caused by quantum physics?

This is caused by quantum physics?
Yes so the ability to be 2 places at once. If those 2 places are a brothel and work, you may end up with spotted doick.

This is caused by quantum physics?
Eh, probably not. More of a classical physics thing.
