Now that's a book I'd sit down and take the time to read. I didn't know much about them until I watched a YouTube documentary someone posted here a couple of weeks ago, and those guys really caught my fascination.
Just bought for 17 bucks

Just bought the book and I'm already 100 pages in. :lol
I was at the Udvar Hazy Center today, saw the book in the gift shop and remembered that documentary someone posted. :salute

I'm not much of a reader...in fact I grew up hating to read. But in high school, this was the only book that I had ever read that I wasn't forced to read, so I really enjoyed it. This was also about the time Karaya and I had formed the first 303 squad in game, so I was really interested in learning about them.

I've been pretty partial to the American 8th AAF in Europe detailing the stories of B-17 aircrews and missions:
*Masters of the Air by Donald Miller
*To Kingdom Come by Robert Mrazek

I love readin about the B-17 guys too. Amazing what they went through. Currently Reading Masters of the Air, after reading about the HBO series that is suppose to come out based on the book in another post. It is very good read too. Will have to look into To Kingdom Come. :salute
