Watched this during breakfast this am, Did the gentleman's son just find the diary in his fathers things?

Polls would have sufficed.

Very good thanks for posting

Being part Polish, I am not offended by that term; but wonder why calling Poles such a word is perfectly fine, yet many slang terms for Jews, French, Italians, Asians and Africans cause mass hysteria, outrage and even violence?  I guess everyone but Pollocks are total Pusscakes.

I thoughts it was polacks. Its right that Limey, Brit, Pom, Roast Beef, Septic, Yank are all innoffensive yet every other nation seems to take offence at nicknames :headscratch:

"Jew" has been used as a derogatory term for ages. It's just that the Jews never let that come between them and their pride of being Jewish.

Pollock isn't derogatory, and even if it was the Polls are tough enough to be unphased by it.  Just like the one who's ego was small enough to tolerate pretending on bicycles for the English after he'd already become a double ace back home.

I'm confused about if you're sincere or trolling with choice of derogatory term in title....

Same, and not offended, but I do know some Poles who are and would be and I would STRONGLY caution against its use as much in their presence as with others and their ethnicities.

This thread is still comming off as a troll, btw.

I believe the term you are looking for is 'Polack', as in a derogatory reference to someone of Polish descent.  A 'Pollock' is a type of fish.

You know Rob52240, you're not even smart enough to be a good bigot.  :D

Off topic.

But slang words for races shouldn't be considered derogatary unless used in such a tone.

The dreaded "N" word, has been off limits, yet now it is almost accepted.

In Australia all kinds of nicknames, slang and racial slurs are now common use.

"Wogs" = Italians / Greeks

"Yanks" = Obvious

"Poms" = Brits

"Abbo's / Noongas" = Aboriginals.

etc. etc.

 Have you guys watched "dark Blue World"?  If you haven't then do so it's a great film . Uses alot of BoB stock film footage but it uses a little CGi but it's well done.
