Sorry guys - just have to post this...
Last night I killed a ME262 in a C47 transport! :x Having said that I was pulling some aerobatics at the time to avoid them all.
Three achievements in one go - Kill in a C47, kill a Perk, Kill in an american a/c. Pity I didn't save the film.
Anyone else have some wiered and wonderful kills?

Several years ago I got two kills in a C-47 in one sortie.
I flew out to a GV base on SmPizza and was attacked. There were several friendly fighters there also but the enemy fighters kept coming after me every chance they had. I was doing my best to deny them a kill and augered two of them for proxies. :) Then, to add insult to injury, I landed my troops at the VBase for the capture.

Fired a random 75mm round from a B25H. Watched it fly across the sky to a Corsair's wings. Wing flew off, a few seconds later, poof. I loled, hard.

Not as spectacular, but last night.
A Me 262 was harassing fighters taking off to attack the enemy's base. Picking them off low and slow at will while keeping his speed up, easily avoiding a few prop fighters dropping down on him.
Then the jet pilot made a grave error: He dismissed that little Yak-9 as a threat just like he did with those other fighters before. Unfortunately (for him) it was a Yak-9T. A few rounds later at D800 and one jet wing was gone :ahand
The only problem: That 262 was me :old:

110(me) vs 262 on his 6....very very lucky shot with rockets took him down :salute to who ever it was

I shot down 3 airplanes in less than 5 minutes last night in a B25 H with the 75mm cannon, 2 were face shots! :aok

I killed a Spit16 one time.

I still have pictures somewhere of me getting rid of rockets over an enemy base while trying to fight a niki at about 10 or 15k. about 10 seconds later some guy pm me about how I had killed him. seems like my rockets hit him as he had spawned. that was funny as heck.

A while back this had happened to me.
I went out to down a CV with a 110. Puffy ack kills my left and right outer wing + right engine.

I turn my happy butt around and start heading home, PW'd after an enemy F4F jumped me.

:huh :huh :huh I jumped out of a Bettie Bomber, ran to the enemy base. Saw a Tiger1 on the pad just firing away! I put 10 rounds of .45 into it, he never even heard or felt it. He towered out...and I got the Tiger kill! :banana: :banana: :banana: Kill a perk ride, kill with a .45, one other I cant remember. :banana: :banana: :banana: It was awesome! :old: :old: :joystick: :joystick: :old: :old: :joystick: :joystick: :neener: :neener:

Many years ago, I flew a goon to an enemy base my squad had prepped for capture. As I flew along a hillside on my way to the town, along came a flight of low-flying enemy B17's. As I flew underneath them and lucked out as he fired in desperation trying to take me out, he failed to pay attention to the affore-mentioned mountains.
Boom.. boom.. boom! ;)
After the base take, I proceeded to land my "kills".

Daddkev i was there on the ground in my T-34/85 that day and remember that well. :cheers: We were counter attacking base from which we were being attacked. That tiger had a bead on me and you "saved" me.lol :rock : :cheers:

I was at about 15k with a -1 Corsair, with a 500lb bomb (I think that was the weight as it was about 5 years ago or more). I dumped my bomb to engage a Ki61, with no thought as to putting it toward anything. About 20 seconds later I get a kill message. Some poor sap was just in the wrong place at the wrong time :lol, Guess I should have played the lottery that day, of course I bet the guy who caught the bomb was :furious :headscratch: :noid.

I was at about 15k with a -1 Corsair, with a 500lb bomb (I think that was the weight as it was about 5 years ago or more). I dumped my bomb to engage a Ki61, with no thought as to putting it toward anything. About 20 seconds later I get a kill message. Some poor sap was just in the wrong place at the wrong time :lol, Guess I should have played the lottery that day, of course I bet the guy who caught the bomb was :furious :headscratch: :noid.

A few weeks ago I was torping an enemy CV in the AvA with Ju88s. One run I came in much slower and closer than I needed to, and flew over the CV after drop, but not before clipping the tower on the CV with my right wingtip... surprise, wintip didn't rip off, instead my Ju-88 cartwheeled 180 degrees mid-air before belly flopping into the ocean, facing the CV on the opposite side than I came from, and shortly therafter getting pummeled to death by the auto ack.
I thought it was pretty hilarous given that an Ironbark in AH WILL do worse.

I had a B-17 come apart while I was chasing it one time. I couldn't figure out what had happened until I went back and looked at the recording. Turns out he turned hard and went into a dive at the same time, and tore his wings off.

I was in a set of lancs when I saw an NOE lanc mission below me so I dumped my ords and dove on them....Pinged three of them to death before I bought it.........

Before Storch's came out I was screaming around in a jeep spotting for tanks. As I screamed by a sherman (I think) I shot it with my .50 apparently enough to get the kill. Not sure if he towered or got hit, but I did get the kill..
Another time I delivered troops to a map room in an LVT. Apparently the VH popped and 3 vehicles spawned just prior to the last troop getting in. The auto ack killed the GV's and I got the proxies. I'll take that...

I went to fast diving my 262 and blacked out trying to pull up before hitting the ground. I hear a Crash and assume the tower is next. When I finally awake from the blackout I'm shooting straight up with both engines destroyed. I proceed to glide 20 miles back to a safe landing. After reviewing film it turns out that I hit a tree at 660mph while blacked out.

Man I remember the days of driving a Jeep into an enemy tank and killing them! That had to be around 2007 when I first started playing

I quite often killshoot myself with my pintle gun by firing on a drunken squadmate's tank to wake them up. Of course the ability to kill a Panther with a pintle gun simply doesn't translate when shooting at an enemy.

I killed myself shooting a wirble at close range in a jeep. Apparently bullets can richochet back :uhoh

that's odd.
I have literally hundreds of times blasted away at friendly tanks with coax and pintle guns. Possibly even thousands.
I have never, never ever killshot myself with it.

Dropped HQ and realized I didn't have gas to get home so I landed, bailed, and waited for the resupply guys to show up.

I chased a set of B-17's with a 190-D at HQ and got PW'd first ping about 1K out. I hung around and beat him up pretty bad before I had to rtb. I immediately jumped in a goon to resupply and just as I lifted he bailed and I got 3 kills in a C-47. I'll take it. :neener:

I had a similar thing the other night. I saw defending a base that was being horded and bailed over town. There was a goon landed at town and had rolled up against a hedge and couldn't move. I ran over and plinked the pilot a few times with my .45 and saved the rest of my ammo for troops when they were released. He called for help and when the horde tried to shoot me I ran under the goon. Killshooter did the rest. Got 6 or 7 of them that way before help arrived. Unfortunately I only got credit for the goon.

One time I upped an M3 with the big gun and all HE ammo, but came upon the flank of an enemy Tiger. I close the distance, aim my shot, fire, watch it bounce off and explode 3-feet infront of me, and tower.

Pull it up and pause it at the part when your in the C47 and the kilsl show in the text buffer. Hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. Alt + Tab out and open Paint or Photoshop or w/e. Edit > Paste, and it should paste in the image of your screen when you hit the Print Screen button. Edit, trim, highlight, whatever you want and save it as something internet friendly like a Jpeg or Png format.

Just knocked up my second ME262 kill in a C47 and I think my fourth or fifth kill all together in that type :) (Didn't realise it was a 262 till I checked the film this morning!)

About a year and a half ago, I was flying back after bombing a base in B-24s for no particular reason. I stumbled across some B-17s that were above me about two thousand feet, on their way to bomb one of our bases. We spoted each other and the 17s changed course to match mine. What followed had to be the funniest thing, all my squad mates just sat by watching and laughing as the two sets of bombers slung rounds at each other. After two or three minutes, I managed to take the wing off his lead bomber and he didn't bail. I got the kill on all three and fell out of my chair laughing. I had a film of it but sadly my hard drive went kaput shortly after this happened.
Whoever was in those bombers, that was priceless.
