I thought some of the motorheads out there might enjoy these pictures. Although the Bertone carozzeria ultimately got the contract to build the production FIAT Dino Coupe, Pininfarina (which was already making the FIAT Dino Spider) put together a pair of prototypes for a coupe. Like the Spider, they mounted the all-alloy, quad-cam, 2.0-liter V-6 Ferrari engine up front, and it drove the rear wheels. I happen to be very partial to the looks of this little fastback coupe.

Beautiful, drop-dead gorgeous.
When I grow up (i.e. when the kiddie is finished uni) I'm going to age disgracefully by getting me some delightful little vintage sports car. I shall then go about with the sunlight glinting off my silver hair (assuming I still have one), looking down my ancient nose at youngsters driving their lame, penile extension supercars.
