I DO love me some C2 action! Not bad! Ki84 can be a very tough nut to crack in a C205. The few times I've beat one co-alt like that was basically doing what you did, using my extra altitude to keep him off his game and then exploiting his weakness when he screws up and turns the wrong way.

Pretty decent flying, considering you were being ganged up on like that!  :salute

Yea when i seen the Ki waggle his wings looking for me i knew i had my one chance to get back to a shooting solution or at least re merge.
And thankfully that bravo pony wanted to keep all his E ,then once his friends died he felt like going home.

That second spit was clueless, but the first spit was a rude awakening I bet. You handled him well too. Spits are one thing, kis are another, but to have a spit on you immediately after getting out of that ki84, heh, I'd have been swearing a little. And sweating a little.

BTW Krusty, what exactly is the Ki's weakness you are referring to?  :headscratch: I thought they were average climbers and decent divers. Do they have some overspeed problem or something?

Diving is pretty much the only thing it doesn't do well.  It's a Spit 16 killer if you ask me.

Ki84s are master climbers. It is dragging them straight down that is their weakness. Either they shallow out so as not to over-speed, allowing you to come back up in a better place from underneath them, or they commit to a nose-down chase and still have to slow down, allowing you to force overshoots, or force overspeeds.

The Ki is one of the most lethal planes in this game. Most folks don't take the time to learn it well, but it can just about do EVERYTHING better than most planes. Just not follow in dives.

All i would add is.....I am sure glad most guys that fly that bird are not very good.The good ones Ink for one, are tough nuts  :rolleyes:  to crack.
