JUGS (Jug Unification and Guidance Society) is spooling back up. Starting next month, dedicated P-47 pilots will be meeting monthly for one night to terrorize the skies of AH in the most versatile aircraft of the war. Meetings will be on the third week of every month a on an evening to be determined in this thread. Every month I will switch to a new MA country so all who are willing will be able to participate (side jumping is encouraged for those who can). March meeting will start on the Knights side. If you're interested, I'd like you feedback for a day and time to get together. Meetings may include DA sessions, wingman tactics, high and low altitude dogfighting techniques, ground attack training but mostly just blotting out the sun with Thunderbolts.

I can do any evening except Thursday which is my "Squad Night".
Timewise, 9PM or 10PM Eastern would work well, I think.
Once you've got a day/time settled on, I'll email my herd
about it. I'm guessin' a few of 'em would enjoy this.

I'd like to partake in some of this fun! I tend to stick to rookland and look forward to the rotation to our little slice of AH heaven but would definitely be down to some knowledge sharing in other arenas (DA, SEA, etc).
I love my jugs and always am looking for ways to improve and I've definitely felt the sting of the lilmak.

So if your first raid is from Knight-land I may have to strap on a jug and see what gives. It should would out well though. I'll fly with you, learn your tactics and weak spots, then the next Monday when your fat chicks come our way I'll get in my A5 and sort it out!

Hopefully you guys are not to hung over on green beer and are ready for this evening. Announcement will go over 200 around 8:30. Tonight we'll be working for the Knights but the plan is to meet in the TA or DA for a few minutes of discussion and possibly some practice. MA Ops will be determined by the map and enemy displacement. Channel 156 for this months runs.

I had a blast doin' "Jug Night" last night and thank you for the
time and effort put into setting it up and ramroddin' things.
And my thanks to the guys who got involved in it for making
it as much fun as it was. We had some great fights!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get on early, but I was on in opposition for a bit later in the evening.
Kind of had to chuckle, over range I hear "There's a couple jugs over here." and in an almost shocked voice, "And they're working TOGETHER!!" They took me out a few times, but I had fun in my 109. :)

It was a fun night. Thanks to all that showed up. Next month JUGS will fly Bish. At 8:30 eastern, I will be in the TA for those (from any MA team) who would like P-47 training. Bring your questions and I will do my best to provide answers and demonstrations. TA session will last for about 30 minutes or so. Official MA JUGS runs will start at around 9pm in the MA for those who just want to join in the fun and skip the training. As alaways, I'm available for ride alongs and winging in the MA whenever I'm logged on.

It IS the third Monday of the month, however, my shift got moved back today I won't get home till 11:30pm Eastern.
We have several options here...
1. Continue as planned with someone else taking the reins.
2. Postpone until I get off work.
3. Move to another night.
