 Thanks 94th FS, you gave us extra time so we could get our bombs off. Also a Big <S> to JG54 for going along with my last minute idea.

Enjoyed it Eld it felt like charge of the Light Brigade at first. You guys did a great job of air to air in those stukas after you dropped your bombs.  :lol

we were hoping to take one for the team, but you guys got there before us. nice job to both the 94th and the AK's. we almost felt unneeded...<S>

Everyone was needed that was quite the herd of YAKs that dropped down out of the sun. Not a very friendly herd either.  :D
Those guys fought hard and stayed with it.

I wish I could say that my uber piloting skills downed my two Yaks.  Truth is, it looks like they found Yaks compress and ran themselves into the ground as I artfully side stepped their advances.   :neener:

That photo is enough to make you want to Yak! :rofl   Wish I had been able to make the mission. Maybe this upcoming one!

Well as long as the Axis had fun.

I know it can be a struggle for the Germans on the eastern front, with the vast Russian plane set and all.

Don't take any of this as making fun of the Allies especially the Yaks we encountered. We were coming in to attempt to draw you guys away from the Stukas. My first thought when seeing all those yaks decsending was. Oh s**t! You guys put up a great fight fight HT.  :salute
