I can't take any credit for this wish, as AKAK mentioned this in another thread. I agree fully with his quote. I think whatever perks you earn, should stay in that arena, and not cross over in any way. I waited a bit to see if it would make its way here but didnt see it, so I am posting it as a wish and give full credit to the originator of the idea.
Limiting perks to the arena the perks were earned in would eliminate 99% of this problem, since most do it to earn perks to spend in the LW arena.

I don't understand. I think I have been in EW and MW arenas but a handful of times, but it appears the guys have to do the same things to earn perkies as in LW. They still presumably have to fight and kill opponents in equivalent rides so I can't see where the issue is :headscratch:

I have always agreed with this idea.. +1 It just seems right and proper!
Perks should be exclusive to the respective arenas, and earned in those arenas..

In the past years, the P-40B/C has been the most successful fighter in the EW arena, utterly dominating planes like the Hurricane IIC in K/D.

Exactly, and for that very reason I had to stop doing EW/MW stats.

I like hunting the LW farmers that meekly ask me not to shoot down their buffs because they are just trying to get a few perks for LW. :devil I just can't pass up squirting a few .50s into G3M Betties, they burst into flames so nicely from 1K...
I agree perks should be arena specific~ but I would miss the LW stragglers in MW.

whats stupid, is they could just perk farm in betties or ki67's in late war also (on a map like compello, where you can be "front lines, but not really" and go hit towns).. Ki67's at 20k are fast. the last time I got intercepted it was a K4 that climbed right up my 6.. and it took him 4 or 5 sectors to even catch up. he didnt stand a chance.

I agree with having perks confined to the arena where earned.+1 for that.
