Title: twisty stick

when in a gv, if i twist my X52 at a standstill, it starts to accelerate from twisting it, anyone experiencing this?

You have the rudder axis assigned to it, which in GV's translates to left&right movement commands ('a' and 'd' on keyboard). And that of course lets the GV start to move. Either totally remove that axis in GV mode, or give it a greater Dead Band
