AH minimizes on me , it seems that all started since the last big update came out, but it might be just a coincidence. I virtually don't use this comp at all except for AH and the occasional internet use hardly downloading anything unless i think it is absolutely secured. Because of this though, I dint have any anti-virus or -spyware on at the time the problem started occurring. I contacted Roy in AH and he thinks that the problem is Windows not AH and he recommended to run an anti virus-spywere scan , which I did, but no cigar. I've been told that a few people have had some problems but no as persistant and/or frequent as mine. Now it happens quite frequent and the last time it happened AH froze which had never happened before. Any thoughts anyone? :headscratch:

Do you have a cat?

The game cannot minimize itself. The game is not the one that actually does it. Windows does it. Windows does it if Windows is told, by another application, it has the focus.
This is typically a sign of a computer having malware, or spyware, or a virus on it.

Thxs , Skuzzy, I tried running an anti-virus, -malware and spyware program and it did nothing for me , any other suggestions?

Check for other programs running in the background. Anti-virus (you really cannot disable an anti-virus program), iTunes, anything from Roxio or Intuit.
There is no magic bullet here. It is something running on your computer which is telling Windows it is the primary application. When nothing visible shows up after it minimizes the game, it usually means it is not a friendly piece of software.

Applications that are set to auto-update can be a real problem and difficult to find sometimes too.

My Microsoft Security Essentials does this to me when its doing an update.

Just a wild guess, but I guess it doesn't hurt to check the power saving options, both in Device Manager and Windows. If you have some software for that purpose from the device manufacturer, check that too. You don't want Windows shut your USB ports down when not in use, neither to put your computer to sleep mode after 15 minutes. Sometimes it seems that Windows thinks you're not doing anything if everything is buffered to RAM, like watching a Youtube video or even playing a flying sim without using the mouse and keyboard.
