Title: gaming mouse
Post by: guncrasher on March 19, 2013, 11:35:41 PM
does anybody uses a gaming mouse with buttons on the side?  I use the razer naga but it just went kaput after about 5 months of use.  it keeps double clicking and triple clicking on everything.  I tried slowing it down in windows setting but of no use.

I use the mouse to play wot as it is easier to program all the functions in tank but it drives me nuts in ah as it is hard to navigate.

This is my favorite gaming mouse, and I've tried a lot of them:  http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Mouse-Call-Duty/dp/B005S0KHIC .

I previously had a G9 (without the x) and it was my favorite gaming mouse yet.  When the surface on the bottom started to wear down unacceptably after years of use, I tried a number of newer mice, but always thought that the G9 was better.  When I did some research I found out that they did a slight update and the modern version of this mouse is was now the G9x, and that if you can deal with a Call of Duty MW3 logo, you can get the same mouse for about $20 cheaper than the non Call of Duty Logitech G9x.

At ~ $38.00 its really an unbeatable deal IMO, as you'd normally pay $60 or more for this kind of a mouse.

Razers have 2 years garantee, have it replaced. Btw I had a similar experience with my razer laser mouse - it was probably the best mouse I ever had accuracy wise but it broke down in 6 months. To add insult to injury I threw the receipt away so I couldn't get it rma'd.

My razer death adder is the most precise mouse i have ever used.Optical will always be more precise then laser but laser has a higher DPI which is why Razers new high end mice have dual sensors with laser and optical..
