Title: X52 8 way hat

Is there anyway to make the POV2 8 way hat recognize as a 8 way hat in AH? AH only sees it as a 4 way hat. I have trouble with the placement of the main hat for my views. I cant seem to get my thumb low enough to comfortably move it.

Any ideas?

I never had a problem mapping 8 ways in SST. Its to unwieldy tho cause your always pushing to a button you didnt want.

4 views is plenty I just map up/down to throttle buttons. Funny but I dont remember having a problem mapping straight to AH controls either. But Ive had TrackIR for years so I cant comment on current mapping.

If you've got the SST software, I am pretty sure you can set all the hats as an 8 way.  I never used it because I had my views on the one you don't like, and I found it too difficult to hit a diagonal without hitting one of the commands to either side of it.
