Title: its been awhile
Post by: chrish483 on April 04, 2013, 04:32:52 PM: and it looks like im not the only one that's been gone and coming back. mine was the lack of funding, then my 12+ year old PC was just to outdated and the video card took a crap on me and i couldn't find a replacement for it, and last my dial up ISP had a DL speed of 1 meg per 30min.
now im on DSL and a new gaming PC just a few days ago and getting everything transferred from the old to the new one. so im happy :x got a few things on order too, one is a liquid cooling fan for the CPU (also has a 120 MM blue LED fan to match the others)

Post by: chrish483 on April 07, 2013, 01:12:47 AM: ya thats 1970 or older, that was my grandma's and she put all new cloth or whatever on it by hand around the mid 80's, she was good with a needle and thread, it makes out into a single bed every thanksgiving and christmas that we went there to visit and stay over i would sleep on that bed so theres alot of memories with that couch, main thing is that middle support bar is bowed up and my back would hurt like hell the next day.

this PC is really nice and i like the larger tower to, 3rd Gen. Intel Quad Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz, 8GB of DDR3 memory, 500 GB HD. got this through www.tigerdirect.com for alot less $$$ then going the maker/builder of it, www.cybertronpc.net and azzatek.com.
ive got just about everything transferred over to the new PC, some concerns on the Intel HD4000 video card not working with AH.

I suggest taking it outside first, lest that nylon curtain and faux brick wood paneling catch and engulf the entire structure.
