***INFO FROM BOOKS AND WIKI *****
Guns: 2 × 20 mm fuselage-mounted Ho-5 cannons, and 2 × 12.7 mm (.50 in) wing-mounted Ho-103 machine guns
580 km/h (313 kn, 360 mph) at 6,000 m (19,700 ft)
On 25 July 1945, 18 Ki-100 fighters from 244th Sentai encountered 10 Hellcats of the light aircraft carrier USS Belleau Wood's Fighter Squadron 31 (VF-31) in an air battle where the Ki-100 pilots claimed 12 victories with only two losses. Claims and counter-claims regarding the "true" results still arise around this action. The American claims were two Hellcats and two Ki-100s, including Major Tsutae Obara's Ki-100 and Ensign Edwin White's Hellcat which collided, killing both pilots.
The last loss of a Ki-100 occurred on 14 August 1945, a day before the surrender of Japan, when Sergeant Major Fumihiko Tamagake of the 244th Sentai was shot down by a Mustang.

ki61 model still needs updating. ki100 is a radial engined ki61 so it would be quite not out of the realm of posibility that both could be added at the same time?
-
I Would love the hien(tony) to be updated! Be like the P-51B and P-51D
-
It would be great to get when HTC gets around to updating it.
I would like to see the Ki-61-ko, Ki-61-hei (with the ostu gun pack as an option), Ki-61-tei (we have now, but updated) and the Ki-100.
That would round out the Tonys pretty well. :rock

Its actually quite strange that the ki-100 was never added considering how easy of a conversion from the 61 it would be compared to making an entirely new plane.
-
It would still require a completely different model.
-
ill throw in Extra 15 bucks for 2 months if all the Tonys and -100 are added

I'm sure HTC fell out of their chairs and tripped over each other scrambling to get going on remodeling the Ki-61 and adding the Ki-100 for that bonus on their paychecks. :aok
-
Game is already amazing but this spoiled brat wants more! :t :devil

-
Alright HTC We wont our -61 and -100 toys!
-
How bout this one HTC all good reviews.
-
And throw in a J2M as well. Albiet the ki-100 is a sexy bird. How did it perform compared to the ki-44 and 48?

Considering the Ki-48 was a twin-engine bomber, I'd say the Ki-100 outperforms it quite handily in all things except bomb load. :D

haha you know what I'm getting at :D :bolt:

I think the best shot we have at getting the Ki-100 is when HTC updates the Ki-61-I-Tei we have now.
With that said I would love to see a complete Tony set. My choices would be:
Ki-61-I-ko
Ki-61-I-Hei (with the 4 x 12.7mm Ostu gun pack as an option)
Ki-61-I-Tei (update of what we have now)
Ki-100
One day :pray
But for now....Thanks HTC for the Oscar :salute

I'd like to see Ki-44-II first... :D
-
Ki-100 is a decent ride, good firepower and overall stats - however it still suffers from one major flaw in which its top speed is only 360mph, granted its still one of the finest aircrafts the Japanese produced during the war.
Contrary to the myths - the Ki-100 did not fair to well during the war, with a lack of skilled pilots - it didn't perform to well in combat - however in a few engagements flown by veteran pilots - it was well liked for its ability to combat the best the US had to offer.
