:airplane: In light of some of the comments I am hearing and seeing myself, I wish Aces High would install a warning window which would extend, when someone clicks on the B-29 in the hangar. Caution notes would include, You should use large field runways until proficient in the B-29. You should enable "Auto Takeoff" feature in preferences. When loading 40 500lbers, use only 50% fuel. Aircraft automatically "spawns" out with 50% flaps, pilot should consider his load out when deciding how much flaps to use. The use of WEP is recommended for all takeoffs in the B-29. Do not move to a gunners positions until at least 5,000 feet AGL, or until in level flight. Do not exceed 325MPH indicated airspeed at any time, as you will have control surfaces leave the aircraft. Do not use full flaps until on very short final approach. If you have to "go around" after failing to land on first approach, apply full power, including WEP, raise landing gear , then flaps in 25% increment's in that order. When touching down on the runway, make sure all throttle is "off" and you are in a slightly nose high attitude and the main landing gear touches down first, as the 29, if nose wheel touches down first, they are prone to collapse and you could slide off the runway, losing your perk points. If you have to return soon after takeoff with 40 500lbers, you should drop them first before attempting landing. The Maximum landing weight is lower than the normal maximum takeoff weight and you could exceed the structural limits of the landing gear struts and you could crash on attempted landing.
The B-29 is not a "toy"! It is a very complex aircraft and should be flown as such!

Maybe a simple icon would suffice:

...and under no circumstances attempt a takeoff with a formation from a 7k base :uhoh
:)

You guys clearly aren't doing it right, I've been able to take off from a 5k base in a B-29, clear some mountains about a mile off the end of the runway (by that I mean skirt around), turn around and land without dropping any bombs with a 100% fuel loadout.
The B-29 is a delicate bird and you have to treat her like you would treat your wif.... never mind, that sounded better in my head.

If you had ever landed with 100% fuel in the real B-29, you wouldn't be around to make the post you just made!

Luckily, this isn't real life. I did that in offline mode just to get some practice flying the bird without blowing all my perks in the MA.
