Anyone good at cleaning up ugly cellphone pics? I've got one with a lot of distortion and haven't found a way to fix it. Thanks in advance for the help!

When were you at his show? I got to "high 5" Penn as he came running up the aisle at the end of the show. They were both swamped in the hall that I really didn't want to bother them. Fun show!
-
I walked out the theater exit and he was standing right in front of me. I was floored when he started talking to me. I'd never heard him speak.
-
Funny! This past year. Good luck with your pic. It was a great show for sure.

Is that the full size image? If it is, I'll take a shot at cleaning it up when I get home tonight.

Thanks Skuzzy! I really appreciate the help.
Here's a link to the full size image.

Rough image. What do you think?

Much cleaner, thanks! Is there a way to get the blue streaks out? My photoshop skills are lacking.
-
I can take another pass at it, after dinner. I was concerned it was getting a bit too clean.

Man you two guys need to get together so you can get both Penn and Teller in the same photo! :D
RPM that is a good photo of you I have to admit though I've always pictured you like this.

Ok, I cannot find any blue streaks, neither can the Wife and she has excellent color vision. That said, anything more is going to give the picture an oily look as details will start to drop out.
Hand painting it is about the only thing left in my arsenal, and that would take a while.
-
No problem Skuzzy. This looks fine. Thanks for cleaning it up for me. Everything I tried just looked horrible when I was done. :salute

rpm: did you by chance have that graphic as a photo printed on a computer printer and THEN scanned it? I see the blue lines in the Original....and that is a sign of having been printed by a computer printer and then (possibly) scanned to make a .jpg.
-
No. It was taken with my cellphone and there was some schmutz on the lens.
-
Puttin' Skuzzy to work. lol.

No put down to the Skuzzmeister. I didn't push him and he did a good job. He's got everyday probs to deal with. What he came up with looks better than what I came up with, BUT... if somebody was talented they could NCIS the fool out of it and get rid of the blue streaks.
Just sayin'...
-
I don't see any blue streaks in the edited version Skuzzy did. I did see them in your version, but it looks like Skuzzy got rid of them.
-
Like I said, he did a good job. They are still there, just much fainter. I'll fiddle with it some more, but you can't turn a pig's ear into a silk purse.

YIKES> I tried 'Shopping the picture and using clone brush but there are just as many blue pixels as black where the "blue lines" are. Any attempt to 'shoop' it would make it look faked.
