Title: Not saving HiRes update

After downloading the hires update ingame and closing the game my system can not find the update. I've manually searched for it and nothing is there. Manually downloading from the website now, but thought this was very strange.
Running Win8 if that makes any difference. :headscratch:

I'm having the same issue since the last patch.  Every time I go into an online arena the high res pack starts to download again, and again, and again, :cry
I wonder why?  :bhead

Downloading and installing it from here http://downloads1.hitechcreations.com/AHHIRES2300.EXE has stopped that for other people.

Is this related to the same issue I'm having where my desktop icon to start the game isn't working?  I'm dl'ing the link now, will check later to see if fixed, probably 5-6 hours though...

Can't launch from old AH desktop icon and can't copy new ah.exe file to desktop, even after the dl.  Says mss32.dll file is missing, been this way since new patch.

In a down load loop, Have uninstalled and reinstalled and striped Aces High/Hi Tech from the registry  with out any change, started with the latest update, any help anywhere out there.

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

two reg strips and reinstalls later it is working
