I should add,
This could possibly be my new all time favorite quote from the bbs. I appreciate this more than you could know Hopper.
For those of you not in JG11 - Hopper passed 250 victories himself in Frame 2, making him the first member of JG11 to receive the, Ritterkreuz des Eisernes Kreuzes mit Goldenem Eichenlaub, Schwertern und Brillianten (Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Gold Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds)
Awarded to pilots after they have scored 250 aerial victories in FSO.
A man who could easily kommand a successful unit of his own, and one of the finest fighter pilots in the game, his natural born skills are those that leave others in envy of the ease at which he controls the fight, but his spirit and humility in victory quickly turns all envy into only admiration and respect.
FSO is all that matters in Aces High to a lot of us. There is no other venue that emulates actual WWII air kombat in the way this event does on Friday Nights. To succeed in here...is to attain a level far and beyond anything offered in the arcade world, and 1 single victory in kombat operations in FSO are worth hundreds in the MA to me. What could be better than sending the foemen off to bed...over just waiting for him to spawn yet again?
FSO is sacred, and those guys who volunteer their time to make this a reality should have laurels heaped upon them, not grief, for truly...what we have in this group of dedicated one lifers... is the gem at the heart of AH, and what keeps many of us...in the game. And though we have our occasional upheaval's like lately...that is to be expected, as nothing good comes easy, and without passion and vigor.
Leading the 11th into harms way every Friday night is something that I will hold close and guarded to the end of my days. So, thanks each and every one of you who participates in here, and the guys who volunteer their time to make it possible, and above all...my brothers in arms in the JG11 who continue to amaze and humble me with their dedication to the squad, the event, and to this mediocre stick...who somewhere along the line...stepped in the pile of golden pooh-pooh.
Strap in, goggle up, and run your engines warm, in the best area of on line kombat available anywhere.
FLY FSO.

Very nice Stampf.
I flew with a great bunch of guys for 15 years... They are all still good guys, but I wanted to fly FSO and they never fly but on Tuesdays.. I am very happy to fly with JG 11, they are a great bunch and fly well together.
I am honored to fly with them and Stampf as a leader...
Thank You

That's a lot of fun Fridays!

We have a lot of fun in JG11. I credit Stampf. He has gathered together a really interesting, varied, offbeat group of cartoon pilots. He is completely serious about his interest in WWII history and aviation, yet also serious about enjoying this cool game we all play. Which is a good balance, IMHO. I am happy and proud to be part of his motley crew:

where can we look and see how many kills gotten in FSO?
or is it just compiled from each one?
oh ya WTFG Stampf :rock

Congrats :)

Well done Stampf!

I credit Stampf
Thanks Bino, and inturn I credit you and the rest of the men, as I am sure my fellow kommanders here in FSO value and credit those who fly with them. Without you all and your dedication...we would have no need for CO's.

Ink...it is something I have been tracking since we began FSO. I know no easy way to get the numbers. I imput them every week. I do not track every pilot in FSO, but I do have the records for all past JG11 members and guests...including several of your squaddies should you want those stats.
I also keep a more detailed whole year stats chart for each squadron that participates in FSO...I just don't usually post them unless requested. I believe you have seen this chart recently.
<S>
Again,
Thanks all.
FLY FSO!
