Title: 90th Birthday Present for a B17 gunner
Post by: ozrocker on April 14, 2013, 05:50:31 PM: What better present for a 90 year old B17 Air Crew Vet than a flight
in the Memphis Belle? Especially since it was what he wanted for his Birthday.
He was a Waist gunner with 7 Missions over Europe.

:salute and Bless all of them for their Service!
The "Greatest Generation" folks are leaving us,
numbering in the thousands per day now.
Won't be long till they are all gone.
I wish time could be paused, so we could get the untold stories from the tens of thousands
around the World that have not had their experiences told.
Very soon, it will be too late.
