Post by: TWCDmeat on April 15, 2013, 01:20:37 PM
For some reason I'm ways in the top 100 pilots in that stat but I have no idea what it is or how it's calculated.  My in game name is TWCMeat.  BTW check out my FM2 ownage!

Kill points are damage points inflicted on a players plane or GV + 1 single point for a kill.

The way I understand it is that kill points are tallied based on your kills and how you bring them home...

I am not 100% sure the following are correct, but I believe they are close

Crashed/shotdown/captured = Points x .25

Bailed = Points x .50

Ditched = Points x.75

Landed Successfully = Points x 1.0

Bottom line, landing your kills will net more kill points.

So just hypothetically speaking, not that it would have any practical use...  Do you get more points for spraying the entire enemy aircraft with bullets, then finally shooting off something that makes it uncontrollable?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think... yes.
