Now that I see that the only tickets left are crappy seats at $150.00 a pop,
not going to pay that.
 Oz

Last time I seen them was in 1979 in Memphis . No way I pay 150 for a ticket tho .

I think that was Ozzy's last tour....the 'Never Say Die' album...saw it near Tampa (odd, because they didn't play a SINGLE song from the album....musta been some sort of backstage whizzing match behind that)

Its not Sabbath. It will never be without all 4 original members. You can thank Sharon and her greed for Bill not being there.

Bill tried to renegotiate a contract with Sharon about the upcoming album and tour. He was getting a very very small percentage of the pie. The talks went south when she failed to comply with his requests and he said it was a no go. The other ORIGINAL 3 members were getting a more than him. And Ozzy was getting a crazy amount. I dont know the exact figures but it was ridiculous.

Yep. This isn't Sabbath and I wouldn't support Ozzy or his wife.

Me thinks a Black Sabbath reunion is a bitter sweet thing, much like the Van Halen circus acts.

Dave Lombardo is available. :O

Not too bad, definitely could have used Ward on the drums though. Still, it's better than most new "metal" made these days.
Here's the whole song "Is God Dead?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Aloz8OZ2SE
Has a "Hole in the Sky" type riff to it.

I know next to nothing about drumming, I just know what I like...always liked his drumming, butI was reading over 30 years ago what a crappy drummer he was

As a drummer, and have been one for 31 years. Bill is a beast IMO. Him, Bonham, krupa and a few others were major influences on me growing up. Of course music has since gone light years past those days as far as technical abilities. But Bill is a major pioneer in music.

That's the thing about drumming, almost anyone can do it and be good enough. But there are those who make drumming an art, and Bill Ward is one of them.
