Hi. My gamename is Skywarp7 and I just joined AH a couple of days ago. I would like to get some dogfight training and learn the best way to set up my stick. I am temporarily unemployed, so I am available pretty much all the time. It is eastern standard time here. I'm looking forward to training.

Welcome the Aces High. Im sure a trainer will pop in and answer you. You can log into the training arena and check the roster for trainers there too. There are also many player that stop in there that would be happy to help.

Hey Skywarp. What kind of time were you thinking? I am in the UK so if yu can play in the afternoon that works out as my evening, we could arrange a time during the week to meet up. Welcome to a great game.

Knowledge is power. Read everything you can from the AH Trainer's website, as well as familiarizing yourself with the performance and capabilities of all the planes (and tanks if your interested) in the game. Learning some of the terminology will help you and the trainer out.
You can learn it all on your own but it is a long and frustrating experience (what I did, which is why I still have a lot to learn after 6 years. :lol)
A trainer will get you up to speed - and competitive - in a much shorter time. :aok

I'm in the TA most week night between 9pm and 11 pm edt. When you log into the arena open clipboard map and check roster to see if a trainer is in the arena,if you see 1 simply send a text message asking for help.
Plz feel free to pm me here on the boards to setup a day and time if you wish!

I would add that anyone posting in this thread is fair game for asking to join there plane when you see them in any of the arena's. You don't have to even talk...just join the plane and watch. You can use your view keys on your stick just like you were flying....hold your stick and follow through as they fly.
You will learn a lot by riding. Just ask. Sometimes the request is denied....mostly cause there busy doing something.
Riding along is great. Probably the most underrated learning tool we have.

Raw films in the film viewer are pure gold (check the box "use recorded views") for that same reason. It helps not only on the basic stuff, but also for the subtle timing required for certain situations.

We've had a whole afternoon so far. Skywarp flies good, mostly we are working out things like the map, radar, button configs, views etc, etc. If anyone sees him online give him a shout and go do some fights, it will be fun.

Hi. I'm AH21HappyBomb[er]. and i have been looking for combat training for a long while now. I do need :airplane: vs :airplane: dogfight training. This needs to start by 4:30 PM US Central. I am available 3:00-9:35 PM US Central.
