Recently I contacted Maurizio Di Terlizzi to see if he had any reticle pictures for the San Giorgio tipo C gunsight. This was so I could create a historically correct gunsight for the new C.205. To introduce him, here are two links to some of his publications on Italian aircraft.

Below is his response which included a color picture of the reticle and much more than I expected. His publications indicate he's spent a few years researching the C.202 and C.205.

So several points to ponder from this e-mail.
1. - What is a San Giorgio tipo C "a tuffo" (dive) versus a San Giorgio tipo C?
2. - What gunsights did the C.205 use?
3. - What gunsight did the C.202 use?
San Giorgio tipo C "a tuffo". I've seen sources refer to this gunsight until now as San Giorgio Type B Later. But, if you follow these links to the Reggiane Fighters web site you will see a picture of the San Giorgio tipo C in the R.2005 cockpit. On the gunsight explanation page you will see it refered to as San Giorgio tipo C , then in the explanation of how it works refered to as San Giorgio tipo C "a tuffo". Then classified as a "tipo B" at the bottom. You will notice it matches the San Giorgio tipo C "a tuffo" in the first C.205 cockpit picture below. I've also included a page from the 1944 C.205 fitters handbook. Notice the shape of the glass for the gunsight.

Both C.205 and G.55 after the war used the San Giorgio tipo C. It's like the P51D for a short time used the N9 gunsight before the K14 became it's standard on past the Korean war. This would also account for why the restored C.205 at the Aermacchi factory has a tipo C installed in it. If you look around on the Internet at restored Italian fighters you can find maybe a single San Giorgio tipo A in "a" cockpit. The rest have cockpits empty of gunsights. Otherwise you can only find a single restored C.205 and G.55 that have "a" gunsight which are San Giorgio tipo C. It was the most common gunsight during the post war era when C.205 and G.55 were Italy's front line fighters.
In the least HTC please put a San Giorgio tipo B in the C.202. The current San Giorgio tipo C was never used in the C.202. At the most change both the C.202 and C.205 to a San Giorgio tipo B. When you introduce the G.55 the San Giorgio tipo C will be the correct gunsight for it.
Mr. Di Terlizzi was kind enough to send me the following photo from a San Giorgio tipo C of the daytime reticle and the night time reticle.

I have created a Tipo C from the photo and an updated Tipo B for downloading. There are two sizes of each depending on the player's monitor or how much they want to move their default FoV forward or back. A 100Mil and 80Mil main ring version of each.
Copy all files to your sights directory. The mil file is needed so the gunsight will display to the correct size scale in your cockpit. If you forget it the gunsight will be too tiny to use.

Could you make the Red night time one?

Be careful what you ask for. Red will display with different results depending on your monitor, time of day in game, and background you point it at.
Remember to copy both files to your sights directory. If you don't the gunsight will show up too small to be usable.
