I think judging a whole nation or culture based off a few encounters is ridiculous.
There are tons of great people in every nation/culture, there are also lots of "bad apples" in every nation/culture. Lots of nations have great people and crappy governments.
I too have met people and have friends from many nations... there are some Brits I love, and some I don't, some Aussies I love, and some I don't, some Kiwis I love and some I don't, some Brazilians I love and some I don't, some Canadians I love and some I don't, some Mexicans I love and some I don't, etc, etc, etc......
Just judge people by what they are, not where they come from.

I believe you are confusing evolved with refined.
Yanks take the cake on evolution because we have the melting pot. American culture is willing to immediately bastardize and adopt as authentic anything from anywhere at any time.

I would contend that sometime around the late 60's early 70's America stopped being a melting pot, and became more fruit salad.

Saggs are you from any of 3 top nations on my list ? I imagined you are not, your comment makes me believe so.
Well, I could respond. But I think I'll take Mark Twain's advice instead.
"Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience"

Please take note: there is no possible way for a person to casually classify a certain culture or nationality in to a category such as "most evolved", or even "best refined". I may entertain the idea of certain general classifications based on overly grandeur observations with application of hard historical evidence, such as "German engineering is pinnacle", etc, but in terms of opinions of what is and/or is not being in the act of "most evolved" is a bit as much of a shot in the dark as trying to pee in the wind.
I consider the bushmen of the Amazon/New Guinea/Africa, the hill dwellers of Kentucky, and the ghetto rats all as being rather primitive and "behind the times", yet by their own standards they are as good as it gets. See my point? What is one thing for you is another for someone else. Perception is everything. :aok

The most evolved nation will always be one consisting of pop culture fandom or sports culture fandom. These "nations" are usually more progressive in crossing all stereotypical lines.

Yes sir. My post is my own personal experience and opinion. In my book, that's is how I feel, I did not feel that my post would offend the way it has. My own perception.
