Sorry if this is not the appropriate place to post this, or if it has already been posted, but has anyone witnessed this while flying lately? When looping with flaps on, at the top of the loop, my plane gets hung up and I can't roll it over or continue the loop. Even if I fully retract the flaps. I have to wait until the stall gets me pointed down, then I can finally recover. However, it takes thousands of feet. This happened to me in MA last night in an LA-7 (I fly it a lot, but wouldn't consider myself an expert at it). I thought maybe it was just the plane and went over to the Dueling Arena and flew an F4U-1C. Same thing happened, multiple times. I fly the F4U-1C all the time, I've never had this happen to me. Does this have anything to do with an upgrade or wind change?

Try the 38 and keep her nose pointed straight up and she'll finish the loop by her self almost perfectly. And be abl to vaporize your enemies
-
Where you a mil power? If so, did you try reducing power?
-
Sounds like you just got too slow with the nose too high. If you can't stay faster or get your nose down sooner try rolling so one wing points down before you get hung up.

Using torque can also help nose over the plane a bit quicker as well.
From what you're describing, you may also be using stall limiter; it makes departure from normal flight more difficult

if you are falling backwards, inverted and cant do anything, kill your engine......this works very well in the Ki84 :aok

I have, in the last couple of weeks, ran across some 109s that seem to float inverted.

Also, when reducing power, roll out using rudder.

Thanks for all the replies.
I haven't been back since posting because I haven't experienced this again. Maybe I just couldn't fly well that day or something, or maybe the wind settings were affecting me. Not sure, but thanks again for the suggestions.

Torque and rudder are your friends.
