Title: What happened with title screen changing every patch?

I just noticed that the title screen has been the same for quite a few patches, what ever happened to users submitting their own screen shots for a chance to get into the title screen?

Been that way for over a year. By my count, we're on the third since the "rotation" started: Typhoons, B-25, and now, P-39.

I believe all have been player submitted, and slightly modified, shots.  If HTC gets a new good one, I am sure they'd use it.

I think I have a winner. Would there be away to increaserealism in screen shots? Or do people mod it or something

Title screen needs a 190 or P51....  or both.  :aok

There is an issue with our jpeg converter, for some reason which we could not isolate, on 2 occasions the title screen was causing CTD on start up for some people. Hence we stopped the new title screen with each release until we could duplicate and isolate the issue.

You can make your own.  It's just a 1024x1024 jpeg in your AH folder.  I change mine every couple of weeks. :salute
