OK quick question for the AMD people..

I cant get the picture to show up fully in my monitor, it says 1920 X 1080 but the picture does not stretch to the full amount of the screen. I have a black border.

Looks nice  :aok

But if i might ask some questions, why you have changed the dual 570s? Is this config noteably better than the old one (except the lower consumption)?

Could you post how you fixed it? I seem to remember someone else having this issue and I never saw a solution.

some monitors nneed to be in "pc mode".  set it up manually in the monitor itself.

Did you fix it by setting the aspect ratio to 16:9?

Just built a pc with same mobo/cpu combo , i only have 2 x 7850 1mb cards .Game runs a treat , i got the H100i cooler system thats very impressive as well, very quiet and temps are low .
Very happy with AMD .

Under the AMD CCC you go into Start then Desktop and Displays then Properties and look for a Scaling option .. you click on this and expand your monitor to the bezels..

If you are running triple monitors like myself you need to do that with each monitor seperatly before you set up eye finity (or thats what I had to do)

Pro's so far as to what I have seen with this..

1. The overall quality of the game seems faster to me and I am able to hold a steady 60 fps even with the shadows and updating on, my slider is at mid range.

2. With my expreience using NVidea I find it strange to have anti aliasing on full and have a smooth edge on the planes..

3. lower Power consumption on my vid cards and CPU.

Cons (just on the video card side)

1 setting up the eyefinity is a serious PITA you have to have a dedicated monitor running off the DP and the other 2 can run off the HDMI and DVI connectors.

2. As stated above the setup of the monitors to fill the screen is a serious PITA. (of course they may be an easier way to do it, but i have yet to find an answer.)

What I might experiment with is to try the setup with my dual 570's and see if I can produce the same video settings.

Till then ..

PS now I have to buy a new headset.. I am looking at one of these..
