The other arenas seem to be back, but as of 10:20am cst. I still can't get into AvA. Will try again later this afternoon but for now it's no dice.

i went in at around 430pm my time, and all the arena's were closed, so i went flying in a real plane with a friend.

when we took off, my friend Ron shut off icons on the main console! :lol
at one point we did see another plane up, about 2 miles out at 1:30. i just happen to spot him. it was only the movement that i picked him up. but he ran away from us. probably had icons on and was from one of the "other" arena's :D

We have no indications that any of us have muted you, either tonight or in the past.

Whatever it is it was removed, I just went in the AvA arena.

It probably was the language controls HTC has put into the chat system. Could of used a word that the system triggers pick up and then you get muted.
Or maybe HAL was monitoring and lost his marbles again and muted you? :D

I've been muted before in the AvA - one of the reasons I stay away from the arena, last time I mocked two guys in 109s trying to pick my 38 only to watch them run to ack - I laughed on 200 and got muted.
That was over 2 years ago, wonder if it didn't carry over from that time? LOL
I used to fly with JG54 long time ago, with storch I think - but the bad mouthing of everyone in there was simply - bad - if you flew allied you were scum if you flew axis you were ignored.

We have no indication of an admin muting you.
There is an auto mute function that can mute you for profanity in the text buffer and also other players can report you and you can be muted that way as well.
We have no control over those things.
Not saying that any of this is the case, but it wasn't done by an AvA staff member.

Wasn't this same thing claimed by the same person less that a year ago? We need a *yawn* smiley.
