Interesting, mucus is swallowed all the time by the body, broken down by acid and digested naturally anyway.

But health benefits... doubt it.

a vet once told me mammals are split into wet nose and dry nose - some drain their synuses (dogs with healthy wet noses), some ingest. she said humans were supposed to be wet nosed. not convinced.  :headscratch:
