Cool place  :aok

This is a restaurant in Penndel Pa, near where I grew up, Langhorne Pa. I never got to go though. Not sure if it even there still.

How new is it? We ate at El Avion several times (awesome views as well) but I don't recall seeing that. Guess that was back in 2008 I believe.

I grew up in NE Philly.  My parents always bought their cars at Reedman's and we would pass by the plane on the way.  Never got to go there, but it wasn't for lack of asking.  :devil

My Mom bought a car recently and I happened to be along for the trip.  Forget what is there now but it sucks in comparison.  Penndel has not aged well.

Not a surprise, it was starting to show it's age when I left back in the 80's. I look at our old place on Google Earth sometimes and just sigh. It was all alone, farm house right down the dead end road from Neshaminy High School, now all built up around it. :(
So many acres, gone to money.
For the full on hijack though, since you mention Reedmans, We got my wife a car back in 2001, across the river in Norwich, Vermont. Loved it, 2009 Subi, 9000 miles, said it was a manager lease. We bought it, i was looking at the manual, and it was tucked into a dealer folder. Reedman-Toll. The PO was the leasing manager at the dealer in Langhorne. I was floored.
end hijack....
:)
