I want the 217 over the 188 despite the fact that the 188 is clearly a better plane.  Why?  So we bloody well have a Dornier in the lineup. :D

Thats debatable, actually. The Do217 would (depending on the model) be the third fastest bomber in the game, after only the Ar 234, the Mossie 16, and the B-29, and would actually carry a heavier internal load than the Ju 188.
