The second video is an F22 flying over Magruder Blvd in Hampton Virginia. It was #2 of 2 on final...I misjudged where it was gonna pop out of the trees and the camera caught it before I did, hence my surprise :rock
I live near LAFB (Langley Air Force Base) and they turn on final over my subdivision. They have a very unique exhaust note, kinda like a mix between those Star Wars forest rider thingys and a jet. You may not hear the 'Star Wars' exhaust note on the video but it's very noticeable in real time.

For a second I thought you were talking about the Ford Raptor...
So much disappointment.

Cool vids i used to live up there. We lived in Bethel Manor base housing when my dad was stationed @ Langley. Now I live in Fort Walton Beach where Eglin AFB and Hurlburt field are. Eglin has a bunch of the F-35s. Damn plane is pretty loud when the pilot decides to get on it a little bit.

Bethel Manor is currently getting a face lift. All the housing has been torn down and new homes are being built...
Glad you like the vids :aok

back about 10 years ago I worked on a chicken farm and was picking up eggs inside the barn. I heard jets fly over, made all the birds go nuts, so I ran outside and of course they were gone, then I heard them coming back. was a pair of A10s, couldn't have been much more than what seemed to be 150' agl. was awesome to see :x :airplane:

the A-10 still has to be my favorite bird :rock both my dad and my little brother were crew chiefs on em
