Greetings every1:
Would some1 pls instruct me as to the best & easiest way to UPLOAD
files, am having probs attempting to download Historical movies from
a movie url to a file ... sofar I've been stumped. :o
Any & all advice is gratefully solicited. Thank u for ur courtesies.

Your message left me a little puzzled. You ask about uploading and then you tell that you have difficulties downloading. If I understand correctly, you're trying to get the historical movies from a source like Youtube and save them into your computer. That's downloading. Uploading would be the opposite, transferring material from your computer to a server and service for everyone to see, like uploading a video into Youtube.
Now that we've got the terminology issue sorted, there are many tools available to download video material from an Internet source. Google for "flash video capture" and you'll find plenty of tools and advice for grabbing Flash Player based videos. If the site you're downloading from doesn't use flash, then a search for "[site name] video capture" might give you the answer.

type in free youtube video downloader, I have used it to make a couple videos for my daughter :aok its free, just copy and paste the link into the downloader and it will download the video

:salute my daughter loves snowmobiles, and I took all of her favorite sled videos and made a dvd, that way we can use the computer and she still has her snowmobiles :lol
