Old USAAF field manual from 1942 on ACM and tactics.  Thought some might be interested in reading it.

US Navy  

Fixed Gunnery and Combat Tactics Series  

No. 1 How to Get Hits with the Illuminated Sight

Or

AAF Manual

Fighter Gunnery Flight Manual Aircraft P-51 P-38 P-47

Personal note, I really should take a glance through the super dusty and buried stuff in our library if I ever have a slow day at the museum hangar.  Key phrase highlighted.
