And this squad is made up of a great group of guys from other squads and we form like Voltron every Friday night to shoot down bad guys and blow stuff up in FSO.
We are looking to expand and are looking for Volunteers to fill it's ranks. Pay is not good, in fact it's zero dollars... ever.... Missions are usually dangerous as hell and rarely end with landings. We usually rotate from Allied to Axis and are launching an average of 10-11 pilots every Friday at roll.
We want to change that and bump up to 11-15 pilots and want a handful of pilots to join us. If you stick around long enough someone in West Virginia might send you a shirt.
PM me or respond here....

My squad is in the wrong timezone to fly FSO, but I would love to have a group to fly it with when I get time
I would probably be available for at least 50% of FSOs, maybe more (they take place during my Saturday afternoon and I have to spend some time with my partner and our son :joystick: )
If that kind of attendance would be acceptable and you wouldn't be too put off by having a Brit on your vox then let me know :rock :salute

Nefarious, when does FSO start? I enjoy flying in the events and miss the FSO. I would be interested in flying with your rag-tag bunch. Even if you are in the West Virginia area (from a Kentucky transplant).

FSO run the first three Fridays of each month. Event starts (fields open) at 11:00pm US Eastern Time.

Which side are the Volunteers flying tonight?

Volunteers need to contact one of the registered groups/squads and ask to tag along. Unlike scenarios, where walkons are encouraged and herded to the right spot by CMs, there are no "accomodations" for walkons in FSO.
Doesn't mean ANYONE is excluded or uninvited, just that YOU need to take the initiative to ask one of the registered groups/spuads if they have an open seat and would be kind enough to have you (or, in the case of this thread, they advertise for some pilots). Once that is done, they add you to the roster, and you show up and know where to go and who to seek (your group).

The Volunteers are expanding to an 11-15 squad in June adding 6 new pilots in the last few days.
Eeyore, sax, butcher and three pilots from the 55th FG, Carver, Poppy and Baloo.
Looking forward to June and the addition of some more seasoned veterans to our squad!
