:airplane: After reading posts in the AH forum for about 3 years now, it is obvious that some "game" players are loyal to one aircraft or the other. I think it would be "cool" as the young players say, to have an arena, based on the U.S., England, Italian, Russia, Japan and French aircraft. When you entered the arena, you would have to select which country you wanted to fly for and would be limited to the aircraft that country used during WW2. We would have that arena 1 night per week, just to do something different, say, from 6PM, EST, until 11:59PM, EST.
I know we have special events and such, which is sorta like my wish, but a lot of guys never go to special events because of all the restrictions placed on the special event.
What do you guys think?

I think only Germany and the UK would even put up a fight to the USA. Japan and the USSR would be speed bumps. Italy and Finland wouldn't even be noticeable. France, well, yeah....
The thing is that, barring fantasy "almost made it" additions, nobody will be able to match the US. Germany, Japan (with fantasy "almost made it" units), the USSR or the UK might win a map once in a blue moon. Italy, Finland and France have no chance. Italy and Finland just didn't field really competitive equipment and France's is all limited to 1939 and 1940 technology.

-1 really really bad idea - we have the AVA arena if you want to fly on one side or the other.

I think it's a good idea, but might get limited response, much like the early and mid-war arenas.
