I was watching this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gpCLeWqY0w And let me tell you this, This is How most of my Carrier landings end up going in AH in Late War
:rofl Interesting clip
-
I didn't laugh at any of them. It's actually something to watch everything happen in slow motion and not necessarily front and center to the cameras view either. I don't expect that first pilot fared so well if things went how I think they appeared to. And the guy trying and trying but couldn't get out of his burning Hellcat hurt to watch.

There's not a damn thing funny about this, sir.
I normally take everything jokingly/easy going but..how can you find any humor in brave WWII crewmen and pilots losing their lives right when they were finally seconds from home and safety?
Can I ask how old you are, doom?

i am not laughing at the video sir, i am laughing at my own Ability to not land on carriers that good in game, sorry for the misunderstanding

My dad's got some good ones that he put to vhs but I really need to go through his archives before the films turn to dust.
Somewhere, I believe he might have gun camera film from nam and possibly even the "toilet bomb" drop.

Skyraider pilot?
-
Yes, but Robin Bacon was flying his assigned plane on that mission.
It was the last skyraider left with a camera and it also had a second radio for relay purposes during rescap ops.
He's been finding stuff he believed was gone and also spent some time "rescuing" media from bases that closed but sadly he missed saving a lot of stuff at midway that got bulldozed........really good stuff.
