I posted this once and didnt seem to get a response. Here I am again. I am hell bent on spreading the message for our heros/vets. No vet should EVER go homeless.
Take a few mins to watch this vid. They need our help. Spread the word.

Thanks BP for your support. The way our Vets are being pushed aside is horrible.
When I got out in 95, I only waited a few months for my Disability to be processed through the VA.
Now, some wait 3 or more years. Some never get needed treatments.
The Veterans Administration has always been in a mess it seems.
VA healthcare is a joke.
They blame it on underfunding, understaffing etc. Many Vets get frustrated and give up.
I quit going to the VA hospital because I got fed up with waiting 4 months for appointments,
never being seen near appointment time, and the general treated like an object attitudes.
A Vet (disabled or not), doesn't need to hear the excuses, just need the contractual
promises they were made, fulfilled.
After all, we fulfilled our contracts and completed our Service.
Thanks again BP :salute
Posted link above on my FB page.

Disgraceful. They deserve far better.

Shared this on Facebook, I have a few friends that are veterans and I know they'll be spreading it like wildfire.
Its a damn shame to know that illegals get treated better than our veterans.

As a Vet, I thank you, Brian. It is a shame to see this happen to Vets let alone anyone. :salute

As someone excited about and ready to enlist in about a year..this isn't much of a morale boost lol.
Seriously, it deeply saddens me to see people who deserve the basic necessities like homes, food, electricity, etc more than ANYONE in this country.......homeless.....it's truly a disgrace.
Big :salute to all veterans and active duty soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines. Thank you for your service.

Thank you guys for your service, future service. It is a very disgusting situation that our vets are going through. And yes, Oz, I for one know the BS you go through with the VA. My ex roommate (who took his life) was a vet. I watched that man suffer mentally and physically because the VA offered very little, IF any help at all.
Again, I cant thank you ladies and gentlemen enough for your service. <S>

It is a disgrace we ask so much and give so little to the Men and Women who have served us so well.
We waste so much money on frivolous things and send billions to countries that don't have our interests in mind.

Give to private organizations if you are able where most of the funding gets to where it is needed.

Another worthy cause:
The Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation is certified as one of America's best charities providing assistance to the children of United States Marines and federal law enforcement personnel who were killed on duty or died under extraordinary circumstances while serving our country.

It looks like they are consistently only covering half of the demand?
