Had a friend turn me on to this and lets just say i believe it will be my drink of choice this summer
Chocolate Covered Cherry Beer (work with me on this, trust me!!! )
Ingredients
Sam Adams Cherry Wheat beer 1 Bottle
Guiness Draught (the canned Guiness) 1 Can
1 Pint Glass (frosted)
Take the Cherry Wheat and fill the pint glass half way.
Then pour the Guiness over the back of a spoon on top.....you want to "Float" the Guiness over the Cherry Wheat.
The Guiness will slowly start to make its way down into the Cherry Wheat after a little while.
Enough for 2 pint glasses (2 drinks)
Enjoy......Tis an excellent drink for sure!!!
Now, not wanting to wait and have to make a 2nd drink (my last name is Bailey, i mean come on, would you expect any less ;D) , I was lucky to find a Mason jar that will fit both beers....This photo taken as the Guiness was falling down into the Cherry Wheat...but was perfect pour 50/50 light on bottom and dark on top

I know the taste characteristics of each of these and they sounds fantastic together. My best beer I ever brewed was a cherry chocolate stout. I aged it 2 years before opening. 9% yum.

Wheat beer is blasphemy. :)
-
sounds a bit like a black and tan with a twist...

Wheat beer isn't bad...but anything that calls itself Beer that is made by Sam Adams Brewery and in particular has cherry flavors can't be good for drinking.

Black and Tan was my favourite pint for years - Guinness and Pale or Mild (3-3.5%ABV). Very drinkable, doesnt feel as heavy as a pint of stout or porter. With cherry and wheat? Sounds interesting, not sure I would want to drink more than one though.
Tip #1: The order matters: one way works, the other way results in half a pint of head. Cant remember if its stout or ale first :headscratch:
Tip #2: Never order it in Ireland.
