Hello,
For future updates it would be great if you could see what kind of ammo you are using, and if the plane explosions could be more realistic like the game War Thunder.
Thanks,

Basically, and I'm going off the top of my head, 7.7mm .303 are ball rounds.(have to be close due to kinetic energy being lost farther out)
12.7mm, 13 mm are API I think
20mm rounds and up are high exsplosive. (so you can shoot farther, and they do the Sam damage as they do upclose)
And the way the exploding plane looks is for FPS I think so it's user freindly???
Btw you can't compare warthunder to AH. It's like comparing porn to a real woman. The real woman may not look as nice as the magazine content, but trust me she's way better.
instead of trolling I've decided to help onthis one

All guns fire an averaged mix of ammunition based on what the belt would've been typically laced with

This is not Lame thunder, This is aces high 2. Deal with it...it takes alot of time of, effort, coding, and it cost Money, Aces high 2 has around -300-400 regular subscribers,
In fact i wish it would stay the same...If it was just like Lamethunder...There would be no point playing Aces high.... played war thunder my self, It looks not bad, But i do not like the Gameplay.. sorry for being blunt,

wow 300 to 400? and I have seen 450+ on primetime. 400 players translate to 6,000x12 months =72,000. not sure how much money they get paid over there, but I am pretty sure they dont split 72,000 a year.
my guess is that we have 10+ times more your estimate. pretty sure somebody has a pie somehwere.

good news for you bud, here you don't have to level up or spend game coin on ammunition. you automatically get the appropriate ammunition when you choose your plane to fly, bombs and rockets are free.
and have you noticed you don't have to be a certain level or pay game coin to fly a plane?
if you think the explosions in thunderturd are realistic, you need to change the prescription on your glasses.

ever do live fire exercises in the military?

if we are going for more realism...then shouldnt we REMOVE the ammunition counters in allied planes? i have been in several of them and NONE had them in real life. as this is a game,i see why they are here.......but if its realism......we should start with some basics.

Never going to happen. There has to be a balance between simulation and arcade, if HTC changes aces high to 100% realism 80% would quit due to the learning curve. Look at the Curve now with all the easiness we have already - and 80% including myself suck.

A very fine pilot and intelligent player told me everything you do in game you can do in real life
Now o. That note, I'd like an ammo tray full of tracers please

when you select your guns in the hangar it tells you what type of ammo you are selecting based on the gun. when flying you can also set your primary weapons to 1 button and secondary to another.
that is good for when using something like the il2 when you want the 37 mm for the tanks as the bb's wont do anything. also is good for when you dont want to use up your 20mm ammo like in the spit but you want to make the enemy nervouse so you only shoot the .303.
in my ch stick i use the trigger for primary and pinky button for secondary and press both when i want to shoot all my guns in planes like the pony.
