Icon range for enemy and or friendly planes?

not really...unless you want to be confined to flying aircraft available to just one country. maybe change the insignia overlay on aircraft so that enemy have a big red chess piece where the meatballs or stars are and be able to positively identify fighters out to a mile or two.
